COURSE DESCRIPTION: When it comes to technology, do you like to learn new tips and tricks but don’t have time to discover them on your own? If this is happening to you, then this is your class! The class is designed using modules – short-term, succinct sessions that will give you what you need and the time you need to master the given topic. We’ll delve into advanced features of Google Chrome, Google Drive and Gmail – those programs we use on a daily basis, but we’ll also discover new tools that will enhance your technology repertoire personally or professionally.
Minimum requirements: Participants will need a Google Apps district account and have experience with Google Apps. In addition, a personal email address is advised.
CREDIT:1 hour of Drake EDMA credit or 1 hour of license renewal credit. The Drake credit registration fee is $125. A check made payable to West Des Moines Community Schools can be submitted at the first class, or a credit card payment can be made at the first class. There is no fee for license renewal credit. (The instructor will explain both options at the first class.)
